We are unbelievably thrilled, honoured and proud to be nominated for Best Pub in this year’s Cambridge Edition’s People’s Choice Awards 2025!
After launching The Chubby Frog just a little over a year ago, we’ve had so many lovely moments in which we’ve felt oh so proud of our cosy colourful creation, including making it to the finals of the 2024 Muddy Stilettos Awards, receiving a Diners Choice Award from OpenTable and now to be nominated for a People’s Choice Award is all rather wonderful! A sensation that is only matched by the vibrant and happy feeling that comes with a fully booked Sunday in which everyone’s tucking into our much loved Sunday Roasts. Or when we can hear the chorus of “Happy Birthday” being joyfully sang by a big table of family and friends celebrating a loved one.
It's been a whirlwind since our launch, experimenting with menus, expanding our team to accommodate an ever increasingly busy restaurant along with a new trainee chef and an apprentice, both working under the guidance of Head Chef and Co Owner Craig. We endeavour to continue cultivating the cosy, colourful and welcoming vibe that we set out to create when we first embarked upon this adventure in 2023 and want to say the biggest of thank you’s to everyone who dines and drinks at The Chubby Frog, making all of this possible.
And we've really only just begun.... we have so many exciting plans for 2025, including our annual Summer Garden Party grand opening in time for those balmy summer evenings, a family friendly Beer Festival, and many more Old Skool Pub Quiz Nights which you've all been loving so far! Not to mention all the exciting culinary plans we have to expand on our wonderfully eclectic menus, including our already much loved Brunch and Sunday Roast offering.
