Tucked away in Caxton, The Chubby Frog is our colourful, cosy, slightly offbeat pub where people come for good food, great drinks and end up staying longer than they intended to. And for Easter weekend, we’re leaning into that energy and giving you more of what you love!

From Friday 3rd April through to Monday 6th April, we’ve stretched things out a little with longer hours, more food and a very good excuse to make a weekend of it.

Two-for-One Cocktails (All Weekend)

We’re running two-for-one on cocktails all weekend (same cocktail), which means whether you’re easing into the evening, catching up with friends over brunch or just don’t fancy rushing off home, you’ve got a solid reason to settle in. This offer is available on all of our cocktail ranges, from signature cocktails like our insanely popular Cherry Bakewell Tart, to classic cocktails such as Cosmopolitans and of course includes our 0% range where you can enjoy delicious alcohol free drinks such as the Peachy Nojito and Pumpkin Pie (which is my favourite!)

If you’re looking for a proper Sunday roast in Cambridgeshire this Easter, this is exactly what we’re known for. We've deceded to expand our already highly popular offering, serving from 12pm right through until 7pm, so you’re not stuck with that awkward “book or miss out” window. Come earlier, come later, either way, we’ve got you.

Expect quality cuts of meat, fresh seasonal veggies and all the details that actually make a roast feel like a roast. Generous portions, proper gravy and the kind of meal that makes you want to sit back and relax. Post roast snooze, anyone?!

A lot of our guests return just for this and Easter Sunday is always one of the busiest for a reason.

Easter Monday Brunch in Cambridge

Not quite ready to let go of the long weekend? Same!

We’re extending brunch on Easter Monday from 10am until 4pm, giving you plenty of time to ease into the day - no alarms, no rush, just good food and decent coffee (or something stronger, depending on how your weekend’s gone!)

And if brunch turns into “shall we just stay for one more,” the bar stays open until 8pm, so you absolutely can.

Our brunch menus don't just include classics such as a Full English or French Toast. We'll also be serving up some of our much love favourites, such as our brisket burger, the tempura mushroom burger (see below!) and our range of epically delicious loaded waffle fries.

We’re an independent, family-run restaurant in Caxton and everything we do is built around that. It's relaxed, welcoming, a little bit quirky and very much about creating a space where you can actually enjoy your time with us, whether that’s brunch, dinner, cocktails or settling in for a long Sunday roast.
